Research Abstract

We have developed the method for producing a single-walled carbon nanotube with a single chirality. For this purpose, we have carried out systematically laser vaporization experiments by which the temperature and metal catalyst dependences of chirality distributions of single-walled carbon nanotubes have been clarified.
