Research Abstract |
Due to low environmental impact, refrigerant mixtures containing CO2 are considered as candidates for a next-generation refrigerant. This work developed thermodynamic models for mixtures of CO2 with R32, R23, R41, R134a, R125, R152a, and dimethyl ether(DME). Additionally, models for mixtures with novel refrigerants R1234yf and R1234ze(E) were also developed. These models are applicable to cycle performance calculations for refrigeration and heat-pump cycles.
