Research Abstract |
The authors have been investigated SC columns composed of cruciform steel section and concrete covered by thin steel tube and made clear that the SC columns showed large earthquake resistant performance under large axial load. In this thesis, an elastic-plastic behavior of braced frames composed of steel concrete composite columns(SC columns) and steel beam was investigated, and it was made clear that the braced frames showed large earthquake resistant properties under large axial compressive load caused of setting steel braces.
