Research Abstract |
We developed glass preparation proce ss by use of organic-inorganic nanocomposite。 To obtain monolithic transparent sihca glass by sintering SiO2 nanoparticles, weprepare an SiO2/PVA nanoncomposite. We demonstrated fabrication of micron patternson siica glass by room-temperature imp血ting method. Micropatterns on thenanocomposite are fabricated by imprinting a mold at room temperature for 5 MPa in air atmosphere. After sintering the nanocomposite at 1100。C, micropatterned siicaglass is obtained. The proce ss de scribed, herein, provides an attractive, low-temperature alternative to fabricate micropatterns on silica glass.
