Research Abstract |
By utilizing deeply trapped electrons in overirradiated photostimulated luminescent materials, we have extended the dynamic range of the PSL materials. Deep centers showed specific peaks in the absorption spectra and the peak heights were dose-dependent until 35. 0 Gy X-ray exposure. Electrons can be readout by the method uses two step excitations with ultraviolet light and 630-nm laser light.
