Research Abstract

This study was conducted using the F1 obrained from a self-compatible pear strain TH3 x Yokoyama having lowest chilling requirement. Results obtained bud break data of F1 for 3 years proposes pear plants had quantitative trait loci determining chilling requirements as a genetic factor. We also worked about gene expression analysis and found that expression levels of Auxin-responsive family protein and Auxin influx carrier component may relate to endodormancy development of Japanese pear.
