Research Abstract

Clinical impact of polymorphism of angiotensin receptor gene(AT1R(1166A→C)) was examined in discharged patients with acute myocardial infarction. This polymorphism related with increased risk for cardiac death especially in patients with hypertension. Furthermore, MicroRNA155, which reduces translation of ATIR, was elevated in patients with cardiac death early after discharge.
