Research Abstract

In FcRγ/apoE-KO mice, human apoE3-injection showed the most drastic changes mimicking lipoprotein glomerulopathy as well as prominent hypertriglyceridemia. These results suggest that the impairment of macrophage function resulting from FcRγdeficiency plays a principal role in the development of LPG in the presence of apoE abnormalities. This may be another aspect of macrophage-induced dyscondition in dyslipidemia.
