Research Abstract |
Results of immunohistochemical study showed that CD204 positive macrophages were associated with infiltration of regulatory T cells in melanoma tissues. In addition, CCL22 production in ascites and pleural fluids of melanoma were demonstrated. These results suggested that tumor associated macrophages might induce regulatory T cells in melanoma via CCL22.
