Research Abstract |
In this study, we developed a surface plasmon resonance imaging(SPRI) sensor for accurate clinical diagnosis of allergy with small amount of blood. We could detect individual basophil activations in response to various kinds of allergens using this sensor. This system may be a useful tool for clinical diagnosis of type I allergy using a drop of patient blood.
