Research Abstract |
Reduction in radiation dose in chest CT can be attained by modifying image production methods and raising noise indexes without collateral reduction of readers' effectiveness in lesion detection. Radiation dose reduction in CT is expected to lead to safer CT examination or makes dynamic imaging possible, allowing analysis of functional anatomy in patients with pulmonary diseases.
