| Research Abstract |
Our study demonstrated that almost 50% of the islets were immediately lost in both the fresh islets and the WIT islets transplantation at90 minutes after transplantation. Islet survival, however, was 1.4 times higherin the fresh islets than that in the WIT islets in the early engraftment phase.
