Research Abstract |
Computer-based endoscopic image processing technology harbors the potential to advance endourology and laparoscopic surgery by adding new value and function to the endoscope. We have developed a new software package that processes an opened, three-dimensional image of the urethra from a cystourethroscopic video image. We developed other new software package for fusing the 3-D CT image to live video during laparoscopic surgery.
