Research Abstract |
A Nursing Work Index in Home Health Care (NWI-HHC) was developed from the results of semi-structured interviews and postal mail surveys conducted on home-care nurses in Japan. The NWI-HHC significantly correlated to nurses' intention to remain at work and their work satisfaction. This scale can be applied in nursing administration to ensure quality care and secure staffing of home-care nurses.
