Research Abstract |
After the examination of relationships between Self-Management Skills, health behavior for metabolic syndrome improvement and medical checkup results for people in need for specific medical checkups and health guidance by municipal National Health Insurance, the following points were clearly found. The favorable health behavior group had a high score in Self Management Skills. Furthermore dividing people into four groups according to how much their checkup results had improved over 2 years, the worst group had a low score in Self Management Skills. Thus, we have a suggestion of Self Management Skills' practical use possibility for a specific medical checkup and health guidance program.
