| Research Abstract |
Due to the visits to major universities of China and Korea, I got a better understanding of the reception of the Occident in the North East Asia. As a result, I felt an urgent need to review our country's current program of occidental language education and to make a network of researchers and relevant documents in this part of the world. However, if between Korea and Japan, we don' t see any particular obstacle in doing so, because our school systems as well as educational contents are similar, with the continental China, it will be different. Chinese universities are under the strict control of the Government, not yet enough open and free to the external world, so that for the moment, exchange should be limited to that between specialists on individual level.
