Research Abstract |
In this study, we developed a pressure controlled perfusion preservation system, and evaluated the "Post-conditioning" effects in perfusion preservation with Isolated Perfused Rat Liver. It is plausible that normothermic perfusion preservation may preserve/improve the liver function better than cold storage, which is the gold standard preservation method, with protecting hepatic sinusoids.
