Research Abstract |
In this study, An in-vehicle information system and host computer system are developed for sharing a safety driving assistance. An in-vehicle information system judges a possibility of a traffic accident, and sends various sensor data (such as image data, accelerometer) to a host computer system. A host computer system judges a sent data contains a traffic accident by using some image processing techniques. When image processing, a host computer utilizes fast CPU based algorithm and GPGPU based algorithm. These systems could contribute that all in-vehicle system shares information of traffic accident.
