Research Abstract |
The objective of this research is applying context awareness technology to current persuasive applications. We developed six persuasive applications that use context awareness technologies and conducted user studies. From the evaluations, we found that we need to choose appropriate persuasion techniques for each target behavior. In order to popularize persuasive applications that use context awareness technologies, we composed a design guideline for developing the persuasive applications.
