Research Abstract |
In this study, we investigated the effect of stress condition on the energy metabolisms and immune systems using the mouse received restraint stress. Our results suggest that(1) restraint stress induce mitochondrial dysfunction in the liver resulting hepatic steatosis and dysfunction,(2) stress-induced glucocorticoid release affect mitochondrial function and regulate innate immune systems.
