Research Abstract |
Chondrotin sulfate (CS) and dermatan sulfate (DS), which are belonging to sulfated glycosaminoglycan, have been reported to exhibit neurite outgrowth activity against nerve cells. In this study, to investigate structure and activity relationships of CS and DS at the molecular level, we examined the synthesis of CS and DS partial structures.
