Research Abstract |
We weighed on the documents for transmission of waka poetry knowledge and ceremony of waka poetry party written through the worldview of esoteric Buddhism, and we reported on value and significance in the history of ideas in medieval and early modern Japan. Specifically, we surveyed, philologically, pictorial diagrams for ceremony of transmission of waka poetry knowledge, documents for transmission of waka poetry knowledge, and documents for ceremony of waka poetry party, and we analyzed these characteristics and these knowledge bases.
