Research Abstract |
This study clarifies what kind of influence the revision of the kanji policy had on the real kanji use from fact-finding of the kanji use based on large-scale data. As the example that the revision of the kanji policy affected the kanji use, the following thing became clear. (1) In deletion candidate character 28 characters of the Toyo Kanji Hosei Shiryo, there is the character that lowers the frequency such as renewal(附属→付属,濫用→乱用,膨脹→膨張,遵守→順守) having colonized. (2) Joyo Kanji(1981) addition 78 of 95 characters(82.1%) appear within the higher 2000th place in Balanced Corpus of Contemporary Written Japanese(magazines), and fixation advances as the Joyo Kanji.
