Research Abstract |
This study has conducted a" semantic" research on very" polysemous" prepositions, which are usually regarded mistakenly as" function" words, i. e., void of semantic meanings, through looking closely at their idiomatic phrases, in order to provide a key to the homology studies on English and Japanese.
