Research Abstract |
In this study, we investigated the impact of economic and regional integration by using macroeconomic models for simulation purposes. We first developed a world trade computable general equilibrium model to quantify the impact of agricultural tradeliberalization subject to productivity shocks of major crops such as rice. We also quantified the impact of supply shocks in Japan’s regional power markets using a spatial partial equilibrium model considering generation and transmission capacity.
