Research Abstract |
In this study, we studied open consortia to develop a variety of standard. Our study is open consortia to promote the various standardization activities aimed at dissemination of "model-based development approach" and "basic software for automotive", which are JMAAB, and JasPar. Although many companies participate in these consortia, their purposes are not uniform. Of these participating companies, we have focused on the behavior of companies that follow standards that was developed in these consortia. We hypothesized from the perspective of inter-organization theories about how to take concerted actions by the difference of their purposes, and, was verified to search based on the survey interview. Then, we discussed what their impact on corporate behavior, such as how the structure of competition in their industry.
