Research Abstract |
A high efficiency lens with the moth-eye anti-reflection effect has been developed for mid-infrared astronomical observations. A conical moth-eye structure optimized for the long mid-infrared (25 to 50 micron) has been fabricated on a curved surface of a silicon lens and low reflection-loss has been achieved.
