Research Abstract |
Among double beta decay nuclei, ^<48>Ca has an advantage for a double beta decay measurement. Enrichment of ^<48>Ca will further improve sensitivity for a neutrino-less double beta decay measurement. We have studied ^<48>Ca enrichment with chemical isotope separation by using crown ether and obtained enriched ^<48>Ca. This technique will be applied for improvement of sensitivity of a double beta decay detector.
