Research Abstract

本研究ではすざく衛星とフェルミ衛星を同時に用いた超広帯域ガンマ線バースト観測により、ガンマ線バースト付随のジェットの構造を探ることを行う。本年度もフェルミ衛星による研究成果が多数得られ、フェルミ衛星で検出したガンマ線バーストについていくつかの論文を発表した。昨年度論文としたGRB 090510では、さらに検出きれた高エネルレギー放射の性質を詳細に調べることで、継続時間の短い種族では初めて高エネルギーガンマ線放射から異なるスペクトル成分を発見した。それを元に継続時間の短いガンマ線バースト付随の超相対論的ジェット速度に初めて制限を与えることに成功した。この結果をこれまでフェルミ衛星で得られた結果と比較することで、継続時間で分類されたガンマ線バーストの種族間ではジェット速度や高エネルギーガシマ線の性質が大きく違わないことを明らかにし、ガンマ線バーストの種族間の起源にも迫る重要な成果として論文とした。他にも多くの共同研究の成果を発表した。特に、2009年9月26日に検出したガンマ線バーストからは高エネルギー側のスペクトルが折れ曲がっている兆候を初めて検出した。このことからある仮定の下で、超相対論的ジェットの運動速度を初めて観測的に決定することに成功し、共著論文として発表した。すざく衛星に関しても科学成果や軌道上較正試験の結果を共著論文として発表し、フェルミ衝星と同時に解析する準備を引き続き進めている。
