| Research Abstract |
Macrocyclic compounds having azobenzene as a photochromic moiety and a catecholato complex were prepared for the photoresponsive structural control. Photoirradiation to the macrocyclic azobenzene-linked complexes resulted in trans-cis isomerarization.
