Research Abstract |
In this research, we have explored layered mixed anion compounds with perovskite-type layers and investigated their structural and physical properties as well as functionalities such as superconductivity and luminescent properties. We discovered new layered sulfide oxide(Cu_2S_2)(Sr_4Sc_2O_6). This compound has higher luminescence intensity at room temperature compared to its relative compound(Cu_2S_2)(Sr_3Sc_2O_5). In addition, we have established design rules of such layered mixed anion compounds, and found many new compounds such as iron-based superconductors(Fe_2As_2)(Ca<n+1>(Sc, Ti)_nO<3n+1>),(Fe_2As_2)(Ca<n+1>(Al, Ti) n_O<3n>) and so on.
