Research Abstract |
We have developed novel solid electrolytes in which high-valent tetravalent cation conducts. In this study, we have succeeded in demonstrating such Ti^<4+>, Ge^<4+>, and Sn^<4+>, which were believed to be inappropriate candidate for migrating species in solids due to their easy valence change and/or covalent character, by selecting the crystal structure and its constituents.
