Research Abstract |
ZrB_2-SiC eutectic powders with a lamellar texture was prepared, and then the powders were sintered without sintering additive by spark plasma sintering. Dense ZrB_2-SiC eutectic composites with the lamellar texture were successfully fabricated. The ZrB_2-SiC eutectic composites had similar mechanical properties and oxidation resistance to typical ZrB_2-SiC composites.
