Research Abstract |
Bacterial cytochrome P450s require electrons for its catalytic activities through two kinds of electron transfer proteins. To improve electron transfer efficiency, a protein complex composed of cytochrome P450 and its electron transfer proteins was constructed using a heterotimeric protein. Its catalytic activity was evaluated and the component fusion proteins were optimized. E.coli harboring the complex was examined to use as a biocatalyst.
