Research Abstract |
We proposed cross-shift folding method as improved type of folded tape-tether as space tether. By the method tape is folded 2-dimensionally, and the performance such as folding efficiency and deployment resistance is measured. By setting the pitch width of folding as parameter, the above performances were evaluated.
