Research Abstract |
A novel VCIP135 binding protein is identified, and named as p87. p87 localizes to the Golgi, and works as an essential factor for Golgi assembly. It is suggested that ubiquitin signaling mediated by VCIP135/p87 plays an important role in Golgi biogenesis, especially in mitosis.
