Research Abstract |
In order to create new class of chiral building blocks, enantiotopic groupselective intramolecular ene-yne metathesis reaction using ruthenium carbene complex bearing a chiral N-heterocyclic carbene ligand was investigated. As a result, a cyclic compound having a tetra-subustituted carbon atom was produced up to 34% ee.
