Research Abstract |
To search for new anti-tumor compounds, we screened new compounds for p53 dependent cell death. As a result of screenings, we identified ellagitannins from the plant extracta and 5 new natural products from the microbial metabolite. Geraniin and eugeniin, a member of ellagitannins, suppressed tumor growth of osteosarcoma cells in a xenograft model.
