Research Abstract

We tried to examine why generation of immunological memory was suppressed against malaria infection. The experiments resulted in that memory CD8+T cells could be generated after malaria infection. However, during re-infection with malaria parasite, both trafficking and expansion of memory cells were suppressed, suggesting that those are one of the mechanisms that generation of immunological memory is suppressed against malaria infection
