Research Abstract |
Insulin resistance is a risk factor for the progression of atherosclerosis, but its underlying mechanism has not fully addressed. We demonstrated that systemic and macrophage reduced insulin signal increased macrophage accumulation in the vascular walls with the increased expression of inflammatory mediators in thoracic aorta and macrophage attached to thoracic in mice.
