Research Abstract |
Immunoglobulin A nephropathy(IgAN) is the most common form of primary glomerulonephritis and is characterized by glomerular mesangial IgA1 deposition, however, precise mechanism of IgA1 deposition are still unclear. The aim of the present study is to identify the receptor for IgA1 in mesangial cells using IgA1 probe, and integrinα1/β1 andα2/β1 heterodimer was identified as the receptors for IgA1.
