Research Abstract |
We identified candidate proteins which are relevant with brain development by proteomics and DNA micro array analysises of rat colostrum. The new artificial rearing system for rat neonates was established to be able to administer small amounts of neurogenetic factors exactly to neonates per os under complete nutritional care, providing new in vivo model to evaluate candidates affecting the postnatal brain development.
