Research Abstract

Our study revealed (i) CA9 and miR-29a may function as the trigger of scleroderma, (ii) in scleroderma, VEGF-A/VEGFR2 signal may be activated and lymphoid vessels are also impaired by excessive VEGF signal, and (iii) overexpressed CD163 and reduced adiponectin may contribute to the maintenance of hypoxic condition in this disease.
