Research Abstract |
In breast cancer, the one-step nucleic acid amplification(OSNA) whole-node assay detects more lymph node metastases, particularly micrometastases than conventional histopathological examinations. Sentinel node tumor burden quantified using the OSNA assay predicts non-sentinel node metastases, particularly macrometastases.
