Research Abstract |
We investigated stresses occurring in scars of lower leg. Relationship between direction of scars and occurring stresses was elucidated. Biomechanics of finger web was investigated. Unfavorable scars in this area were elucidated. Biomechanical mechanisms of keloid expansion and hypertrophic scar deformities were elucidated.
