Research Abstract |
The spontaneous activity and stimulation induced membrane potential of rat's layer II/III pyramidal neurons in GI (granular) and DI (dysgranular) insular cortex were examined by in vivo patch clamp whole-cell system. The recorded cells were labled by biocytin to reconstruct the dendritic tree and axonal projections.
