Research Abstract |
By examination of effects of a firm action on a technological change, we get two insights on the issue of how to deal with a technological change. First, there are some patterns in battles for technological dominance. An appropriate firm response depends on a pattern of technology battles. Second, a firm can influence a pattern of technology battles via performance of technologies and demand of users.
