Research Abstract |
This research developed the methods of constructing fluorescent ribonucleopeptide (RNP) sensors for detecting signal transduction molecules. A covalently linked RNP sensor was designed by coupling an RNA subunit with a fluorophore -modified peptide subunit. The covalent linking strategy affords fluorescent RNP sensors for simultaneous detection of multiple ligands by monitoring each wavelength corresponding to the respective ligand.
