Research Abstract |
Photocontrollable optical devices based on photoinduced reorientation of liquid crystals were studied. Especially, optical properties of periodic molecular orientation, recorded by vector holography, were investigated in detail. As a result, it was demonstrated that photonic structures, formed by the molecular orientation, exhibit polarization conversion and discrimination in the diffraction process.
