Research Abstract |
Time-action profiles of insulin detemir was evaluated in healthy and diabetic dogs. Insulin detemir could achieve intensive glycemic control in diabetic dogs. Then, we have evaluated the insulin signaling gene expression of insulin sensitive tissue in diabetic dogs with intensive glycemic control. Intensive glycemic control increased insulin signalin gene expressions in insulin sensitive tissue, which suggests amelioration of insulin resistance in diabetic dogs.
